My parents, both Canadian speaking French, have chosen my name in memory of their favorite song; “Monia” performed by Michel Cogoni.
Since 2006, I’ve negotiated and completed several international singing contracts, and the majority of them were renewed.
I’ve performed in more than 1,200 singing shows (Canada, Egypt, India, Maldives, Qatar, Singapore).
I’ve negotiated singing contracts in venues that had never before, hired a local or international singer (in Canada and the Maldives). Therefore, I was the first one to open these markets for my new clients who trusted me. After that, they all contacted me again to renew my mandates.
I love to study and to discover new cultures. I have a Bachelor Degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal. During my studies at University, I’ve received a scholarship to complete a semester at the Canadian University Center in Berlin (Germany), and I've also completed another semester in USA.
Arts are my biggest passion. I’ve modeled on over 400 fashion photos/runaways and worked on over 40 films and TV sets (Canada, France, Germany, Morocco).
I’ve also graduated from ProMédia in Presenting for Radio and Television (Canada). My studies include artistic workshops in Musical Comedy, Theater, Dancing, Singing, Acting, and Song Writing (Canada, USA).
I'm interrested about Business and Communication. I’ve completed intensive seminars in Business Negotiation, Show Production, (NVC) Pacific Resolution Conflicts and Psychology of Communication (Canada, USA).
I’ve also completed two linguistic trainings in Spanish (Mexico, Spain).
In my spare times, I like to work on the logistic of my shows, learn new songs, read, write and compose; I’ve composed about twenty songs in both French and in English (lyrics and music). I also like to mingle with people, to travel and to practice sports.
